I hereby consent to SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) collecting and using my personal information and entrusting the handling of such information to third parties, as described below, for the purpose of using the identity verification service (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) provided by the Company.
1. Items to be Collected
  1. User’s name, mobile phone number, subscribed mobile carrier, date of birth, gender
  1. Connecting Information (CI), Duplicate Subscription Confirmation Information (DI)
  1. Information on the website or application used by the user, date and time of use
  1. Domestic/foreign status
  1. Subscribed mobile carrier and mobile phone brand
2. Purpose of Use
  1. To verify the accuracy of the identity information entered by the user on the website or application (Provision of identity verification service)
  1. To transmit CI/DI to the relevant website or application
  1. To handle service-related inquiries and complaints
  1. To analyze and categorize information such as the website/application used, for analyzing the user’s service usage preferences
3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
  1. Retained and used only for the period the user uses the service; however, exceptions are as follows:
  1. If required by law, retained until the period stipulated by the applicable law (Detailed matters follow the Company’s Privacy Policy)
4. Outsourcing of Personal Information Handling for Identity Verification Service

Entrusted Tasks
Verification of accuracy of identity information (identity verification service), generation and transmission of CI/DI, handling of service-related inquiries and complaints, mobile phone authentication protection service, system setup for providing user service preference analysis information, integration with advertising media, and entrusted sales activities
※ Detailed matters regarding the entrusted handling of personal information by each trustee shall follow the personal information processing policy and third-party provision consent policy posted on each trustee’s website according to their own procedures and methods.
5. If you do not consent to the collection, use, and outsourcing of the above personal information, you will not be able to use the service.
  • Matters regarding the handling of personal information related to the services provided by the Company shall follow the Company’s Privacy Policy (available at www.sktelecom.com).

[KT Corp. – Consent to Collection and Use of Personal Information]
KT Corp. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) collects and uses your personal information and entrusts the handling of such personal information to third parties, as described below, in order to provide the identity verification service. You hereby agree to the following.
1. Items to be Collected
  • Mobile carrier to which the user is subscribed, mobile phone number, name, gender, date of birth, nationality (domestic/foreign status)
  • Connecting Information (CI), Duplicate Subscription Confirmation Information (DI)
  • Name and URL of the service for which the user requested identity verification, date and time of identity verification use, IP address
2. Purpose of Use
  • To verify the user’s identity and transmit relevant information to internet service providers for services such as membership registration, ID/PW retrieval, etc.
    • (※ Only for internet service providers where the user requested identity verification)
  • To transmit the user’s information to KT Corp. and other mobile carriers to verify identity and match mobile phone information
  • To send SMS authentication codes to confirm mobile phone ownership
  • To prevent unauthorized use
  • To provide identity verification history at the user’s request
  • To check subscription status of the mobile number protection service (for subscribers only)
  • Other purposes as required by law
3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
The Company destroys the user’s personal information without delay once the purpose of use is fulfilled or the retention period has ended and does not store it separately. However, the following exceptions apply:
  • If required by law, the information will be retained for the legally prescribed period (Detailed information is provided in the Company’s Privacy Policy)
4. Outsourcing of Personal Information Handling for Identity Verification Service
  • Trustee: Korea Credit Bureau Inc. (KCB)
  • Entrusted Tasks: Verification of the accuracy of identity information, transmission of CI and DI, handling service-related inquiries and complaints, etc.
5. If you do not agree to the above collection, use, and outsourcing of personal information, you will not be able to use the service.
Matters related to the handling of personal information in connection with the services provided by the Company follow the Privacy Policy posted on the Company’s website below.

Consent to the Collection and Use of Personal Information by Telecommunications Carriers
To: LG Uplus Corp.
In order to use the identity verification service provided by LG Uplus Corp. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), I agree to the collection and use of my personal information by the Company as described below, and to the outsourcing of personal information processing.
1. Items to be Collected
  • Customer’s date of birth, mobile phone number, name, gender, nationality (Korean/foreigner)
  • CI (Connecting Information), DI (Duplication Information)
  • Websites or applications used by the customer
2. Purpose of Use
  • To verify the accuracy of identity information entered by the customer on websites or applications
  • To transmit CI and DI to the respective website or application
  • To handle service-related inquiries and complaints
  • To fulfill other purposes as prescribed by law
3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
  • The Company retains and uses personal information only during the period in which the customer uses the service. However, if laws require retention, the information will be retained and used until the legally mandated period. (Details are in the Company’s Privacy Policy.)
4. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing for the Provision of Identity Verification Service
  • Trustee: Korea Credit Bureau Co., Ltd.
    • Outsourced Work: Provision of identity verification relay service
  • Trustees: CS Leader, LB Hunet, IRLink Co., Ltd., CS One Partner Co., Ltd.
    • Outsourced Work: Operation of customer center
  • Trustee: Medialog
    • Outsourced Work: Operation/management of the PASS application and website
  • Trustee: Aton
    • Outsourced Work: Handling PASS service errors and VOC (Voice of Customer)
5. If you do not agree to the collection, use, and outsourcing of your personal information as described above, you will not be able to use the service.

If you, as a trustee providing mobile phone identity verification services on behalf of telecommunications carriers (SK Telecom Co., Ltd., KT Corp., LG Uplus Corp.), intend to collect, use, and provide my personal information, you must obtain my prior consent in accordance with Article 15, 22, and 24 of the Personal Information Protection Act and Article 22 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. Accordingly, I agree to the collection, use, and provision of my personal information by your company as described below.

      • Retention Period: Until the purpose of use is achieved (per recipient’s privacy policy)
  1. Text Message Transmission for Identity Verification
      • Recipients: SK Telecom, KT, LG Uplus
      • Purpose: To send text messages to confirm user possession of the mobile number
      • Item Provided: Mobile phone number
      • Retention Period: Until the purpose of use is achieved (per recipient’s privacy policy)
  1. Provision of Mobile Identity Verification Service (to service-using companies)
      • Recipients: Companies using mobile identity verification services (contracted with KCB)
      • Purpose: To provide mobile phone identity verification service
      • Items Provided: Date of birth, name, gender, nationality, mobile number, carrier, IP, DI, CI
      • Retention Period: Until the purpose of use is achieved (per recipient’s privacy policy)
  1. Mobile Number Protection Service Guide (only for those who agreed to receive promotional info)
      • Recipients: MinAnG Co., Ltd., Korea Certification Platforms Inc.
      • Purpose: To provide guidance on mobile number protection services
      • Items Provided: Mobile phone number, telecom
      • Retention Period: Discarded after purpose is achieved (or upon consent withdrawal)
□ Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
Personal information is destroyed without delay when the purpose of collection or provision is achieved. However, in cases where retention is required by laws such as the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc., the Use and Protection of Credit Information Act, the Guidelines on Designation and Management of Identity Verification Agencies, and the Notices of the Korea Communications Commission, personal information may be retained as follows:
  1. Storage for compliance with KCC inspection and internal policies – identity verification history
      • Prevention of misuse and complaint handling: Up to 1 year
  1. Storage for legal purposes
      • Records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years
□ Right to Refuse Consent and Disadvantages of Refusal
You have the right to refuse consent for the collection, use, and provision of your personal information. Even after giving consent, you may withdraw it at any time. However, refusal to consent may restrict your ability to use the service.
