Card Product Description
[Eligibility]
- Individuals aged 17 or older (Korean residents, including foreign nationals residing in Korea with a valid alien registration number, a mobile phone number registered in their name, and a Korean financial account)
[Annual Fees and Issuance Fees]
- International (VISA Platinum): No annual fee
- (Re)Issuance Fee: Waived up to two times within 12 months of reissuance request (based on issuance due to customer’s own reasons)
[Payment Information]
(1) Charging
- A single card can be loaded with multiple currencies (more than 46 currencies available).
- There is no limit on the number of charges or recharges. The minimum charge per transaction is the equivalent of USD 1.
- The maximum balance per card, including existing balance, is equivalent to KRW 2,000,000.
- The annual maximum foreign currency spending limit per card is equivalent to USD 100,000.
- The exchange rate applied upon charging is based on the rate published under [Exchange Rate Information] in the Travel Wallet service.
- Funds for charging the card are withdrawn from the KRW account registered by the customer upon joining the Travel Wallet service.
- The company does not pay interest on the card balance.
- The list of supported currencies is subject to change or expansion.
- Currency balances can be checked via the [Balance Check] screen in the Travel Wallet service.
- Charging may be restricted if the card exceeds the maximum limit or has been reported lost/stolen.
(2) Usage
- Members may use the card within the available balance, without usage limits, until the card’s expiration date.
- The card supports only single payment transactions (no installment or cash advance features).
- The card can be used at domestic credit card merchants and online/offline merchants abroad where VISA is accepted.
- Transaction amounts and associated fees are deducted directly from the card balance.
- Usage of the card is limited to the currencies charged on the card.
- The card may be used by entering a PIN or signing the receipt.
- The card is available 24/7, year-round, in principle.
(3) Cancellation and Refund
- Customers may request cancellation at any time before the card’s expiration and may request a refund if there is a remaining balance.
- The refund is provided in KRW after deducting a refund fee based on the exchange rate published under [Exchange Rate Information] in the Travel Wallet service.
- If the customer meets any of the conditions specified in Article 17(4) of the Travel Pay Terms of Use, the refund will be made in full without deducting a refund fee.
- Refunds may be withheld or declined if the card balance is less than the refund request amount or the refund fee, until the issue is resolved.
[Overseas Use Notice]
- The exchange rate shown in [Exchange Rate Information] within the Travel Wallet service is applied when exchanging to foreign currency.
- Card transaction fees for all currencies are 0%.
- The company may change the fee and will notify customers via the app or website at least one month before the change takes effect. Updated fees are available in the Travel Wallet terms of use.
