Terms and Conditions for the Use of the Social Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) are established to define the rights and obligations between Travel Wallet Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and the customer, as well as the conditions, contents, and procedures for using the “Social Service,” which is a supplementary service to the Travel Wallet service provided by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
① The definitions of the terms used in these Terms are as follows:
- “Travel Wallet Terms of Use” refer to the terms and conditions concluded between the Company and the customer in relation to the use of the Travel Wallet service, which are notified to the customer by being posted on the homepage or app screen operated and provided by the Company. These include the Terms of Use for the Overseas Remittance Service, the Online Currency Exchange Service, and the Travel Pay Service.
- “Travel Pay Card” (hereinafter referred to as the “Card”) means a prepaid electronic payment method issued and managed by the Company in accordance with the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, which can be used for payments at domestic credit card merchants and overseas online/offline merchants that accept VISA cards.
- The “Social Service” (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) refers to a supplementary service of the Travel Wallet, in which a representative member forms a group by posting a post on the app’s bulletin board to recruit two or more members, and when the representative member makes a payment with their card, the other members’ cards are also charged a portion of the total payment amount based on the configured payment method.
- The “N-Bbang Payment Service” is a separate supplementary service of Travel Wallet, provided under the “N-Bbang Payment Service Terms of Use.”
- “Member” means a customer who agrees to these Terms and the Travel Wallet Terms of Use, applies for and receives a card via the Company’s mobile app, and uses the Service.
- The “Social Bulletin Board” (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”) refers to the platform provided and operated within the Company’s mobile app in relation to the use of the Service.
- “Post” means all types of content created on the Board within the mobile app, including posts, comments, and replies, in relation to the use of the Service.
- “Group” refers to a voluntarily formed gathering of two or more members who participate in the Service through a post written by a representative on the Board.
- “Representative” refers to a member who initiates group activity by writing a post on the Board to recruit other members for the purpose of using the Service.
- “Group Member” refers to a member who expresses intent to participate in a group formed through a post written by the representative and actually joins the group.
② Matters not stipulated in these Terms shall be governed by the Travel Wallet Terms of Use, the N-Bbang Payment Service Terms of Use, other terms provided by the Company, the Basic Terms of Electronic Financial Transactions, relevant laws and regulations, and general commercial practices.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Amendment of the Terms)
① These Terms become effective when posted on the Company’s homepage or app or otherwise provided to the Member at the time of card purchase or issuance, and the Member agrees thereto.
② If the Company establishes or revises these Terms, it shall specify the effective date and reason for the revision and post it on the homepage and app screen at least one month before enforcement and notify the Member. In cases of urgent revisions due to amendments to the law, the revised Terms shall be posted for at least one month and notified electronically.
③ A Member may terminate the agreement before the effective date of the revised Terms. If the Member does not express objection, it will be deemed that the Member has consented to the changes.
④ If a Member does not consent to the revised Terms, they may be restricted from using all or part of the Service.
Article 4 (Notice, Delivery, and Explanation of the Terms)
① The Company shall present the Terms to the Member and, upon request, provide a copy via electronic document (including email), fax, mail, or direct delivery.
② If a Member requests an explanation of the Terms, the Company shall provide an explanation using one of the following methods:
- Directly explaining the important contents of the Terms to the Member
- Using an electronic device to clearly display the important contents of the Terms and obtaining the Member’s acknowledgement via the same electronic device
Article 5 (Governing Rules Outside These Terms)
① In case of any separate agreement between the Company and the Member concerning the Service, such agreement shall take precedence over these Terms.
② For matters not defined herein, the Travel Wallet Terms of Use, the N-Bbang Payment Service Terms of Use, and other terms posted on the Company’s homepage or app screen shall apply. However, in the event of conflict, these Terms shall prevail with respect to the Service.
③ For matters not provided in these Terms or other relevant Travel Wallet terms, and in the absence of a separate agreement, the Basic Terms of Electronic Financial Transactions, the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, and other relevant laws and general practices shall apply.
Article 6 (Roles and Duties of Members)
① A “Representative” shall perform the roles set forth in the following items in relation to the Service and shall hold the corresponding rights and responsibilities.
- Create and post content on the Company’s mobile app bulletin board for the purpose of using the Service
- Comply with the purpose of the Service, applicable laws, and public order in relation to the use of the Service and content creation, and supervise Group Members’ compliance as a prudent manager
- Recruit and promote group membership through posted content
- Lead group activities and associated N-Bbang Payments with Group Members
② A “Group Member” shall perform the roles set forth in the following items in relation to the Service and shall hold the corresponding rights and responsibilities.
- Participate and engage in content posted on the Company’s mobile app bulletin board for the purpose of using the Service
- Comply with the purpose of the Service, applicable laws, and public order in relation to the use of the Service
- Participate in both online and offline group activities as indicated by the Representative in the post
- Fulfill payment obligations related to N-Bbang Payments when a group payment occurs
③ In the case of any group activity resulting in a joint payment obligation between the Representative and Group Members, the payment method shall follow the provisions of the N-Bbang Payment Service Terms of Use.
Article 7 (Notifications from the Company)
The Company may notify Members of any of the following matters related to the Service through electronic methods such as in-app bulletin screens, push notifications, announcement pages, email, SMS, or KakaoTalk messages. However, excluding item 1 below, such notifications may be withheld if the Member has explicitly refused to receive such information.
- Notification of changes to the Terms of Use for the Service and details of the changes
- Notification of other members’ responses to a Member’s post or comment
- Notification of popular posts that receive a high level of engagement
- Other information related to the execution of the Service (excluding promotional advertisements)
Article 8 (Restrictions and Suspension of Use)
① The Company may restrict or suspend a Member’s use of the Service and promptly notify the Member after taking appropriate action if any of the following applies:
- The Member uses an account not registered under their real name to post or interact with content
- Content or groups related to the Service involve obscene content, defamation, rights infringement, or are used for illegal purposes
- Content or groups related to the Service are used for commercial or advertising purposes without prior written consent from the Company
- Content or groups related to the Service infringe or are likely to infringe on others’ rights, such as defamation, portrait rights, or intellectual property rights
- The Member uses the Service in a manner that violates applicable laws or deviates from the intended purpose of the Service
② A Member may report posts that are deemed inconsistent with the Terms of Use or the intended purpose of the Service. The Company may take measures such as hiding or removing such posts after receiving one or more reports.
Article 9 (Management of Posts and Ownership of Rights)
① The Company shall use its best efforts to protect Members’ posts from tampering, damage, or deletion in accordance with the duty of care of a good manager.
② Notwithstanding paragraph ①, the Company may delete posts without prior notice to the Member if the post is reasonably determined to fall under any of the following, and may also restrict or suspend the Member’s use of the Service.
- The post involves copying, removing, altering, posting, transmitting, linking, or distributing copyrighted content without proper authorization
- The post involves altering or concealing the author’s name or pseudonym, or modifying titles of copyrighted works without permission
- The post is reasonably determined to infringe or potentially infringe on third-party copyrights or other rights
③ The Company assumes no liability for any damages or losses arising to Members or third parties due to copyright infringement or other illegal acts related to posts.
④ Posts that are posted, reposted, or combined with others’ content on the bulletin board will not be automatically deleted. Therefore, the Member must delete such posts directly before withdrawing from the Travel Wallet service or request deletion through Customer Service.
Article 10 (Disclaimer)
Except as explicitly provided in these Terms, the Company does not represent or endorse any opinions or information related to the Service. The Company does not approve, oppose, or revise opinions expressed by Members or third parties. Members are free to use the information related to the Service at their own discretion. The Company shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred by a Member due to opinions or information related to the Service unless the Company has acted intentionally or negligently. The Company does not routinely monitor or review the contents of posts and shall not bear any responsibility or obligation in relation thereto.
